This dish can be had as an appetizer or after your main course, as it is good for digestion.

Preparing time- 10 mins
Cooking time- 10 mins Serve – 8- 10 glasses

1 raw mango
2 to 3 green chillies, and 1 red chilli (byadige)
Mustard seeds
Curry leaves / Salt
Hing ,Oil
8 to 10 crushed garlic cloves, optional


  1. Pressure cook the mango. Remove the skin, deseed and grind into a smooth paste.
  2. Add water and salt. Consistency to be similar to buttermilk.
  3. Heat oil. Add mustard seeds, red and green chillies, curry leaves and hing. You can also replace hing and mustard with garlic in the tadka.
  4. Add this to the mango mixture.
